Residents experience remarkable surroundings, without isolation or inconvenience.
In addition to native New Mexicans, Los Caminitos is home to people from many other parts of the U.S. and around the world. This diverse group includes retirees, working professionals and families with young children. The majority have their primary residence here, although there are many second home owners.
A few temporary residents join the mix from time to time, especially during opera season, since members are allowed to rent their homes once each year provided that the rental term is 30 days or longer.
Owners always get together to celebrate the pool opening each spring and to conduct business at the Annual Meeting in August, when three directors are elected to the nine-person Board. Several committees meet throughout the year to oversee implementation of the various decisions made by the Association.
